Subject
Resolution - Resolve that, with the concurrence of the Mayor, that by the adoption of this Resolution, the City of Los Angeles hereby includes in its 2007-2008 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for SB 1734 (Kuehl), which prohibits real estate investment trusts from modifying the lease or selling hospital property if such action would diminish patient care received at the hospital; the bill also establishes a mediation process to resolve disputes before they cause harm to patients.
