2010 TAXI FRANCHISE AGREEMENT / REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Subject
Motion - That the City Council direct the Los Angeles Department of Transportation to immediately begin the development of a Request for Proposals to secure a consultant that would assist the Department in preparing for the 2010 taxi franchise agreement. The consultant's report should address potential franchising styles and make recommendations for how to maintain high quality service, a healthy industry, and protect workers.
