Motion - That the Council instruct the City Administrative Officer with the assistance of the Personnel Department and the Environmental Affairs Department to report on efforts to have the City and City employees support the County's recommendations to encourage the use of public transportation and the purchase of green vehicles for their commute to work and on the possibility of entering into agreements with automobile dealers so that City employees can receive discounted prices when purchasing or leasing a hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle.
