2. NOTE & FILE the Fire Dept's req to exempt from the provisions of Civil Service, Charter Section 111, the position of Risk Mgmt Prevention Prog Manager and SUBMIT this req under separate cover for appropriate processing.
3. AUTH the Fire Dept to release a RFP to acquire new off-the-shelf software, subject to the approval of the ITA for CUPA implementation.

PRESENT and ADOPT accompanying TWO ORDINANCES adding to and amending various provisions of Article 7 of Chapter V of the LAMC to accommodate the City's status as a CUPA in the United Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Materials Management Regulatory Program under State law and to set forth a procedure for the establishment of fees, such as the accompanying fee schedule for various elements regulated under the program, and to add Chapter 106 to Division 5 of the LAAC to establish the United Program Trust Fund for the receipt and disbursement of State service charges and County fees in connection with the program
