Motion - THEREFORE MOVE that the Eagle Rock Arts Festival - Dahlia Days, jointly sponsored by the Office of Council District Fourteen (14) and Cultural Affairs Department, be declared a Special Event; and the involved City departments be requested to waive all fees, costs, and requirements, except insurance.
FURTHER MOVE that pursuant to Ordinance 150567 relating to temporary street closures: (1) Eagle Rock Boulevard, between Merton to Caspar Avenues; (2) Colorado Boulevard, between Caspar to Chickasaw Avenues; and (3) Chickasaw Avenue, between Caspar and Merton Avenues, be closed on May 16, 1998 during the hours of 3:00 am and 6:00 pm, subject to the supervision of the Director of the Bureau of Street Maintenance.
FURTHER MOVE that Bureau of Street Maintenance be directed to deliver and pick up the necessary traffic control devices.
FURTHER MOVE that Department of Transportation be directed to post "Temporary No Stopping" signs and provide traffic control personnel, as required.
FURTHER MOVE that should unforeseen circumstance change the actual date of the Special Event, the aforementioned departmental instructions continue to apply.
