2-15-05 - This day's Council session - Motion - Cardenas Mover 2005 / Garcetti - On Saturday, March 5, 2005, Children's Community School (contact: Heather McPherson, Director, 14702 Sylvan Street, Van Nuys, 818-780-6226, www.ccsteaches.com) will be hosting their Eighth Annual Van Nuys Health Fair and Family Festival. Children's Community School has been producing this very successful health fair for 7 years. This important community service event is one way the Children's Community School demonstrates to its students that we all share responsibility to take care of each other and our community. The services provided by this health fair are sorely needed in this Van Nuys community and for some of the 500 anticipated to participate, this will be the only chance for these services this year.
