& Wilshire Community Plan has, as one of its goals, preservation of
low-density residential character of community & enhancement of its
distinctive neighborhoods; & in Carthay Circle neighborhood are
numerous homes that are examples of Los Angeles' architecture of mid
war years, as well as broad greenbelts; THEREFORE MOVE that Planning
Dept, with assistance of City Atty, prepare a neighborhood specific
plan for residentially zoned property of Carthay Circle community
that would preserve its residential character & unique identity
