NC Poll Worker Application

2019 Neighborhood Council (NC) Elections

An individual interested in being a poll worker must be able to commit to the entire voting hours on Election Day and attend training in order to work on Election Day.

Individuals' interested in serving as poll workers for NC elections may submit this application no later than 40 days prior to Election Day to: City Clerk - Election Division, 555 Ramirez Street, Space 300, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Attn: Poll Worker Recruitment Section, for consideration to participate as a poll worker.

Following are the Regional Election dates where poll workers are needed. (Please check all in which you are interested. If necessary, see NC Regional Map for detailed information):

I am interested in volunteering as a poll worker for the 2019 Neighborhood Council Elections:1

1Please note interested persons will be contacted in early 2019.  2Poll workers cannot serve in a Neighborhood Council where they/their family are candidates.
*$50 stipend is subject to taxes

Requirements to be a Poll Worker:

  • Be at least 18 years of age by Election Day
  • Speak, read, and write English (Bilingual skills a plus)
  • Attend a Mandatory training session
  • Provide own transportation and cell phone
  • Accept the City Clerk poll worker assignment (location)
  • Submit an application by the established deadline
  • Work the entire Election day
