Documents and records proceedings for Council and Committee meetings, prepares public hearing notices, receives claims on behalf of the city and certifies City contracts.
Election Division conducts operations for the City’s Municipal and all Neighborhood Council Elections.
Establishes Business Improvement Districts and administers the BID Trust Fund which supports economic vitality within each district’s boundaries throughout LA.
Manages the permanent retention and destruction of all City records, including the preservation of City archives back to 1827.
Provides administrative and personnel support for the Offices of the City Clerk and elected officials, and manages multiple special fund accounts.
Provides strategic and tactical planning, application development, systems integration, automation, and technical support to the Office of the City Clerk.
