Mo - Westwood Park area continues to create a unique jurisdictional
problem for City & County of Los Angeles. While property is owned by
City of Los Angeles & most services are handled by City staff, Park
is located in unincorporated territory & is technically under
jurisdiction of the County. THEREFORE MOVE that CLA, CAO & Planning
Dept be instructed to begin process for review & annexation of
Westwood Park & adjacent Little League fields (not to include the
Federal Building property or Veterans Administration property); &
FURTHER MOVE that, because of the potential problems created by
jurisdictional confusion surrounding this property, Planning Dept &
CAO be instructed to complete their reviews relative to proposed
annexation within sixty days of adoption of this motion

Addition 1-91, in connection with Mo (Yaroslavsky-Bernson).
PRESENT & ADOPT ORD establishing the "OS" Zone for annexation of Park
property to City of Los Angeles from County of Los Angeles. FIND that
notice of public hearing is waived pursuant to Section 11.5.6 & D of
LAMC.
TRANSMIT A COPY of Ccl action to Periodic Plan Review Section.
ADOPT, as rec by CLA, the accompanying JOINT RESOL of Board of
Supervisors of County of Los Angeles approving & accepting negotiated
exchange of property tax revenue resulting from "Westwood Addition
1-91" to the City of Los Angeles (Detachment from Consolidated Fire
Protection District).
APPROVE application to be filed with Local Agency Formation Comsn.
AUTH Mayor to sign & City Clerk to attest, respectively, said docs on
behalf of City of Los Angeles.
